Lovely place, Jo was so friendly and informative, with tea and biscuits on arrival and our bags taken up to our room, first class service. Absolutely fantastic breakfast. Will definitely come again.

Just spent 6 nights at Lamorna Lodge. Was welcomed by Richard (host) after a long journey with tea/coffee & biscuits. Our room was first class with amazing sea views & spotlessly clean. Honesty bar was a great idea!. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choices & the cream tea was superb, all home made. Had lots of little chats with Joanne (hostess) & was very friendly & informative. Would highly recommend Lamorna Lodge! xx
If you’re looking for a quaint bed and breakfast with incredible views and access to The St. Ives and Cornwall area, you must consider Lamorna Lodge. Joanne, one of the two owners, greeted us excitedly and gave us the low down on everything, especially with COVID guidelines. She then offered casual conversation along drinks we enjoyed while observing the coast from our table indoors. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and cozy. We hope to come back!
Lovely hosts and environment, we are glad we chose to stay here for our Cornwall holiday. Breakfast was amazing and had vegetarian options too. Also we were very close to everything by car but even without a car there's lots of places to explore nearby too!
The owners Richard and Jo are the perfect hosts. Really friendly and helpful. Lamorna Lodge is a lovely place to stay. Perfectly placed in Carbis Bay with beautiful views across of St Ives Bay. A lovely place to stay has a lot of character. Unfortunately due to covid the only facilities we could access were our room. Pity I really fancied a cornish cream tea on the sun deck, nevermind maybe next time. There's good access down the hill to Carbis Bay and to the train station. It's only a couple of minutes back up the hill on foot to the main road where we saw restaurants and shops. Overall a nice place to stay. The view from our room was stunning.
Excellent location, a 5-minute walk from a very nice beach and train station (which takes you to St Ives in 3 minutes). Sea views, calm, and peaceful. Very hospitable hosts, Joanne and Richard, who were extremely friendly, helpful, and made the stay even better. Always on hand to give recommendations and tips, and ensure we were happy during our stay. It was clean throughout the B&B, had plenty of parking, and a nice balcony area for all guests to use and chill. The breakfast each morning was very good, plenty of food and drink, again, very flexible and provided good vegeterian options which was a plus. I would recommend it to anyone looking to visit St Ives and the surrounding area, thanks again Joanne and Richard :)
